when white claw decided to sponsor the first ‘post’ covid sundance film festival, they really wanted to use their platform to spotlight an up-and-coming director. So we tapped laura m gonçalves to create a film for us. She wrote “first light,” a story showing the sacrifice and extent a creator will go to for their art. She even cast a budding creator and salt lake city native to star in the film to keep the work authentic. love it when things come full circle.
